At the Conley Farm we have been growing quality Balsam and Fraser fir
Christmas trees since 1968. The farm has 400 acres with approximately 80 acres
in tree production yielding around 75,000 trees. We plant quality northern
grown transplants every year to help insure a continuous supply of trees. The
trees are fertilized twice a year to insure good growth and color throughout
their growing cycle.
Our trees are basal pruned their third year in the field to give them
a good, clean handle which gives the trees a nice finished look on your lot.
Each tree is graded and marked in the field for cutting. At harvest the tree
butts are marked according to their grade. The trees are harvested the second
week in November and are then baled with a Howey String Baler. After baling,
the trees are then placed in our custom, shaded storage area to await pick-up.
The storage area will handle any size truck.
LOCATION:
We are located 6 miles west of Rochester, NH and the Spaulding
Turnpike in southeastern New Hampshire. This will not only save you time and
money, but the trees will spend less time in the drying wind during trucking.
The trees will arrive on your lot in better condition.
From Maine or Massachusetts take I 95 to Portsmouth, NH and go North
on RTE. 16, the Spaulding Turnpike. Take exit 13 and go left on RTE 202 West
1.3 miles. At blinking yellow light turn right on Estes Road. Go to blinking
red light. Go straight onto Meaderboro Road, when road turns to gravel go 1.4
miles to 527 Meaderboro Road on right.
